The Arab-Asia Business Partnership Summit 2014 today announced that the Summit would explore investment opportunities in the healthcare sector at the inaugural summit taking place in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the theme ‘Reinventing Regional Markets'.
The Summit , which is comprised of both an exhibition and conference, will take place between 9-12 December 2014 under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Hassan A.Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) with the aim of demonstrating the potential of both emerging and existing opportunities for cross-border partnerships throughout the wider Arab-Asia region with healthcare now a prime focus among other key sectors including Information and Communication Technology, Tourism / Health Tourism, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Real Estate and Construction Companies.
Leading the high-level healthcare session will be Partners in Population and Development (PPD), the inter-governmental alliance of 26 developing countries which is also a Permanent Observer at the United Nations, who have recently agreed to lend its support to the Summit and educating audiences on healthcare growth and development needs.
Commenting, His Excellency Dr. Joe Thomas, Secretary General of PPD, who will moderate the session, said, "We are eager to facilitate an insightful exchange of ideas at the conference with a specific focus investment opportunities in the region's health sector. We expect the session to highlight key growth drivers and educate investors on ways to help meet supply and generate sound investment return."

Their expertise in healthcare and deep knowledge of key markets within the Arab world and Asia is sure to be a highlight at the conference.
The Summit promises to be an exclusive platform for Arab and Asian countries, business leaders and enterprises to forge viable cross-border partnerships. The Summit will also celebrate India’s strengthened ties with the Arab world by featuring India as its first-ever focus country. A high-level delegation led by CII will showcase available investment initiatives and business opportunities in both public and private sectors for delegates from across the Arab-Asian region.
