BIBF, in collaboration with the International Compliance Training (ICT) is organising a briefing session to launch the 2015 cohort of the ICA International Diploma in Compliance.
The briefing session is open to all financial sector employees, especially those working in the area of compliance, and is set to take place on Wednesday, 25th February 2015 at 5:30 pm at the BIBF premises. The briefing session will be conducted by Ms. Maria Kravchevskaya, Director of International Compliance Training (ICT) Middle East.
The Diploma, created by experienced industry professionals, fuses practical knowledge within an academic discipline and is recommended by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) for those working in the area of compliance.
"The ICA International Diploma in Compliance has been successfully conducted by BIBF for the past four years and offers participants a clear understanding of the compliance role within their own organisation and the wider financial services industry. The programme qualification is awarded in association with the University of Manchester Business School", said BIBF’s Head of Centre for Banking, Mr. Deen Jayah.
"Over the years, compliance in the financial services sector has become the responsibility of all staff. Businesses today need qualified people who understand laws, regulations and the rules by which their firm operates. Compliance plays a very important role in protecting the business, helping to safeguard the reputation of a firm and minimise financial risk", he added.
The open house will focus on the course content, intended learning outcomes, registration and assessment processes, and will also include a Q & A session.
