Egypt will host an Arab-Russian economic summit by the end of the current year with the participation of representatives of the Arab countries and Russia which will coincide with the convocation of the Egyptian-Russian Business Council.
In statements to MENA on Wednesday on the fringe of Akhbar Al Yom Economic Conference, Secretary General of the Egyptian-Russian Business Council Alaa Ezzeldine said the summit's date will be set after coordination with the Russian side and other Arab countries.
The summit is scheduled to discuss joint investment opportunities between Russia and the Arab countries as well as means of promoting the Egyptian exports to Russia, he added.
He pointed out that investment opportunities will include heavy industries, engineering commodities as well as other business sectors which concern the Russian side on the Egyptian market.
