Foreign investors purchased AED 2.5 billion worth of shares on Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and sold AED 2.4 billion over the week, DFM said today.
Net foreign investment on the market reached AED 148.5 million, as aggregate buy.
Value of shares bought by foreigner investors comprised 43.9 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the last five days, while value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period represented 41.3 per cent of stocks traded during the period, a DFM press release said on the market activities for the current week.
The value of stocks bought by institutional investors reached AED 1.8 billion comprising 31.5 per cent of the total value of stocks traded. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached AED 1.5 billion which constitutes 26 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the five-day trading period.
Net institutional investment on the market stood at AED 318.9 million during the period, as aggregate buy.
