Chairman of the General Authority for Investment and free zones (GAFI) Alaa Omar discussed Wednesday with representatives of 16 Chinese companies ways of strengthening investment relations between the two countries.
The meeting came on the sidelines of the Chinese delegation’s visit to Egypt.
During the meeting, Omar underlined the importance of Egyptian-Chinese relations, pointing out that Cairo and Beijing are keen on promoting their bilateral ties.
The delegation, for their part, expressed their desire to cooperate with Egypt in the fields of mass transportation and environment friendly-building materials industry.
