Industrial output in India up 5%
India's industrial output rose by 5% in February
New Delhi - QNA
India's industrial output rose by 5% in February year-on-year, official data showed Friday.
The manufacturing and power sectors grew by 5.2% and 5.9% compared to the same month of the previous year, the Central Statistics Office said in its monthly sector.
The mining sector also grew by 2.5%.
The report's release came a day after credit ratings agency Moody's upped India's future outlook to positive.
