Cooperation will be enhanced between the International Cooperation Ministry and the Arab Organization for Industrialization in the various domains, Minister Sahar Nasr said on Monday.
Demand has increased from many foreign companies to make use of locally developed industrial capacities of the AOI, she added in statements on the sidelines of her visit to the organization’s headquarters.
Nasr noted that she discussed with AOI Chairman Abdulaziz Seif el Din a number of files and issues of mutual concern, including pro-development efforts exerted by this giant industrial entity in the various productive sectors.
For his part, Seif el Din welcomed the visit of the minister, saying that it was a good opportunity to review the potentials and products of the AOI in the civilian and military fields.
He also lauded the minister’s efforts to sign agreements and memos of understanding with a number of countries all over the world.
Egypt’s AOI had been founded as an international organization, with rules and regulations allowing it to sign deals and build relationships and partnerships with multinational companies and organizations, the AOI chief asserted.
