Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company has signed an agreement with Syria to export tractors to the Middle Eastern country, the state IRIB TV reported Thursday. The company's managing director Abolfath Ebrahimi said the agreement was signed Wednesday with a visiting Syrian economic delegation. The agreement is worth 4.5 million U.S. dollars and "500 tractors will be exported to Syria within the next three months in the first phase," he was quoted as saying. Syria is becoming one of the customers of the Iranian-made tractors, Ebrahimi added. The headquarters of Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company is located in Iran's northwestern city of Tabriz.
