The agreement was signed by JIC Chief Commissioner, Khaled Abu Rabei and Secretary General of EMA, Dr. Abdul Majid Ayadi.
Abu Rabei said the deal aims at promoting economic ties and striking closer cooperation and coordination with the association in various areas.
It also seeks to support the development of investment projects and urge businessmen and companies to expand their work in the region and help in the transfer of the technological know-how.
He highlighted available investment opportunities in Jordan and the investment-friendly climate the Kingdom enjoys. Abu Rabei stressed the importance of the private sector's role in promoting and strengthening economic cooperation between Jordan and members of the Germany-based organization.
He noted a Jordanian-German investment forum is set to be held during the first quarter of 2015 in the German city of Hamburg to promote investment opportunities in the Kingdom.
