Khartoum - MENA

Sudan and South Sudan have agreed on action to relieve the first of its foreign debt and to attract foreign investment to the latter.
In a press conference held in Khartoum Friday, South Sudanese Foreign Minister Barnaba Benjamin called for boosting ties between Juba and Khartoum for the sake of the two peoples.
The South Sudanese top diplomat underscored that his country was the biggest market for Sudan's goods, and hailed Khartoum's humanitarian aid for the South.
Benjamin pointed to progress in negotiations between the government in Juba and rebels, headed by Riak Machar, noting that a peace agreement could be clinched soon.
