Russia's Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has set the aim of increasing the labour potential of Rostov Region with a view to creating conditions for the admission of compatriots arriving from Ukraine. A directive about fixing Rostov Region's 2014-2020 draft State programme entitled "The Rendering of Assistance in Voluntary Relocation to Rostov Region for Compatriots Residing Abroad" is published on the RF government's website on Friday.
This measure, emphasized the Cabinet's enclosed reference note, "will make it possible to boost labour potential of Rostov Region, and create conditions for admission of compatriots arriving from Ukraine's territory".
In this connection, "provision is made for for rendering of social support, assistance in getting housing and jobs by participants in the Programme and members of their families, socio-cultural adaptation of relocatees, and informational support for the process of voluntary relocation".
The document goes on to point out that the Programme is financed "resultant of subsidies from the Federal budget and the budgets of the constituent entities of the RF to implement regional relocation programmes that are included in the State Programme for Assistance in Voluntary Relocation in the Russian Federation to Compatriots Residing abroad", as well as "at the expense of the Rostov Region's budget".
A draft directive to this effect was tabled by the Russian Regional Development Ministry.
