Minister Sahar nasr
Cairo - MENA

Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr reviewed with British ambassador in Cairo John Casson economic ties between the two countries and future cooperation prospects.

A statement issued by the Cabinet on Sunday said the British diplomat congratulated Egypt on the completion of the roadmap after the election of the House of Representatives.

The ambassador pointed out to the support of the British government to Egypt through British companies to finance economic and social projects in the country, said the statement.

The minister, for her part, stressed the importance of supporting the small and medium enterprises in various governorates to create more job opportunities for youths.

Nasr called on the British side to continue technical support for Egypt while benefiting from the British know-how, especially in the fields of training teachers on teaching with the most up-to-date tools.

A large number of British companies are working in Egypt in the fields of oil, gas, communication and information technology, industry, tourism and agriculture.
