Secretary General of the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) Mokhles Qotb said Friday talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) indicate that Egypt is on the right track.
In statements, Qotb pointed to what he called tangible interest in reform programs in Egypt, which positively affect the Egyptian people's economic, social and political rights.
The NCHR senior official underlined the importance of taking into account the accurate balance between economic decisions and their social dimensions.
Meanwhile, Qotb warned that the population explosion largely hinders the achievement of optimal targets of Egypt's economic reform program.
