The Council of Ministers' economic sector on Tuesday approved a memorandum of understanding between Sudan and Turkey in mining cooperation, presented by the Minister for Mineral Resources, Ahmed Mohamed Al Sadiq Al Karouri.
Karouri said the MOU seeks to enhance cooperation between the two countries and serve as impetus for investment in the mining domain, particularly the field of discoveries, scientific research and exchange of information, as well as technical assistance and training.
The economic sector, the minister said, has commended the outstanding relations that links the two countries, calling for enhancing and improving them further, through cooperation in the various domains in a way that will serve the joint interests of the two peoples.
