Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) reaffirmed its commitment towards programmes that empower the Bahraini youth by sponsoring inJAz Bahrain’s 9th annual ceremony on Thursday, September 11.
The ceremony was held to recognise institutions and companies that supported and sponsored programmes of the foundation, as well as volunteers who carried out Injaz Bahrain programmes at various educational establishments.
Commenting on this occasion, Alba’s Director for Administration, Abdul-Rahman Janahi said:
"Alba has been a consistent supporter of inJAz Bahrain not only through sponsorships but also by way of participation as volunteers in its various empowerment programmes. We are proud to support various initiatives of this organisation, which helps to create a talented workforce for the future."
A member nation of the worldwide organization Junior Achievement, inJAz Bahrain is a non-profit society driven by the private sector with the aim to empower Bahraini youngsters with the knowledge, skills and hands-on experience required to compete in a global economy.
Alba is one of the companies that is part of inJAz Bahrain’s ‘Company’ internship programme, in which young students are given the opportunity to work and gain experience at leading companies in Bahrain.
