Jeddah - Arabstoday

American Express (Saudi Arabia) opened its new office at Al Turki Business Park on Dammam Highway recently, in a move aimed at strengthening its presence in the Eastern Province. American Express CEO Priyan Attygalle said: “This new office is in line with our strategic plans aimed at keeping pace with the growth of the Eastern province and for providing the best services to our cardmembers in this region.” The new office provides full-fledge services catering to the various needs of cardmembers and merchant requirements, said Attygalle. He pointed out that the office will offer customer various services and issue American Express cards. American Express, he said, is best known for its iconic cards including Blue, Gold, and Platinum charge cards. It also offers credit cards of similar color levels in most countries. He pointed out that Amex (Saudi Arabia) Ltd., which is a joint venture company equally owned by Amex (Middle East) EC and the Saudi Investment Bank, has been witnessing incessant growth. The company owns and operates the American Express card and a range of business-related products and services in the Kingdom. The opening ceremony of the new Amex office was attended by a large number of guests, including Khalid Al-Abdulkarim, CEO of Al-Abdulkarim Holding. Other guests were Mohammed Galal, CEO of United Electronics Co. (eXtra), Yacoub Al-Hashemi, executive director of Sara Holding; Mohannad Al Madhi, vice president of Al Turki Business Park; Othman Adawieh, Business Park manager, Fahad Al-Guthami, Amex chief operating officer, and Sami El Natour, chief marketing officer. Attygalle added that the American Express products have been available to customers, merchants and corporations in Saudi Arabia for over 20 years. From Arabnews
