These employees staged a sit in this morning near EDL's headquarters in Mar Mikhail and then moved to Clemansou where they met with MP Walid Jumblatt to convey their grievances. The contractual employees also held sit ins and strikes in most Lebanese regions. These part time employees claim that the Service Providers were hired by Energy Minister Gebran Bassil plan to take away their job and throw them in the streets without any compensation.
