Emirates Skywards, the award-winning frequent flyer programme of Emirates Airline, is again offering a top prize of one million Emirates Skywards Miles in its 14th annual Thanks-A--Million draw at the Dubai World Cup on Saturday, 29 March 2014. The Dubai World Cup at the Meydan Racecourse is the world's richest horse racing event with thousands of international visitors expected to attend this year. Unlimited raffle tickets can be purchased for just AED 20 apiece. This year, funds raised will go to the Emirates Airline Foundation which provides humanitarian, philanthropic aid and services for children in need and aims to help eradicate poverty from the communities Emirates flies to. One million Skywards Miles is equivalent to up to 22 return Emirates tickets to Europe or 19 to the Far East from Dubai. The first runner-up will win 500,000 Miles (enough for 12 return tickets to Europe), and the second runner-up will win 250,000 Miles (enough for six return tickets to Europe). In addition, on 27 March, there will be a prize of 250,000 Miles at the Breakfast with the Stars, the annual Dubai World Cup breakfast event providing racing enthusiasts the opportunity to watch the horses the "stars" exercise on the track at the Meydan Racecourse. Raffle tickets are on sale at select dnata outlets or at the Meydan Racecourse on the Dubai World Cup day on 29 March. The Skywards Thanks-A- Million draw has raised a total AED 3,176,675 during last year's event for various charities such as Riding for the Disabled Association of Dubai (RDAD), The World Food Programme UAE Red Crescent and Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre WAM/Hazem/Majok
