Swedish furniture store IKEA is recalling its Pax Aurland brand mirror doors after receiving reports that the mirror can fall out. Customers who have a Pax wardrobe with Aurland mirror doors from supplier number 12650 should contact IKEA's customer services, on 400-800-2345, immediately, the company said. IKEA plans to recall around 80,000 products worldwide. The problem was identified during an investigation after the sliding mirror door on the Elga wardrobe, manufactured by the same supplier and sold in IKEA, was recalled in September. The furniture maker said a limited number of Pax Aurland mirror doors are involved in the recall - those produced late last year. The company suspended manufacture of the sliding mirror doors in April. IKEA's public relations specialist in Shanghai, Jiang Wenying, said: "IKEA needs to recall 187 mirror doors from Shanghai, and all the affected customers will receive a replacement mirror door free of charge." IKEA has set up a team to facilitate the recall. It will trace affected customers through purchase information and speed up replacement, Jiang said. IKEA has posted four product recalls this year in China. In August, it recalled its Busa children's folding tent because the steel wire frame could break and protrude through the tent fabric. It recalled its Forsta coffee and tea maker in March after receiving reports of glass pots breaking under pressure from the metal holder. In January, the company recalled its Rund handmade double-walled clear glass mug, which was breaking unexpectedly. IKEA's recall policies stirred controversy in China last year when it recalled 3.36 million blinds that presented a danger to children - but the recall was issued only in North America.
