Bahrain's Diyar Al Muharraq yesterday announced the appointment of Irish engineering company Jennings O'Donovan and Partners as primary infrastructure designers to the Diyar Al Muharraq Development. The Irish company will be key to the delivery of primary infrastructure through their role in the design and supervision of the main arteries throughout the development site including highways, bridges, water supply, wastewater, irrigation, electricity and telecommunications, this was published at GDN. The announcement was made during Enterprise Ireland's trade mission, led by Trade and Development Minister Jan O'Sullivan. As one of Bahrain's biggest mixed-use residential urban developments, Diyar Al Muharraq has consistently demonstrated its commitment to using the services of only the most experienced and reputed professionals in their areas of expertise. Driven by the goal to improve and add value to property and infrastructural development in the country, the company has been stringent in its emphasis on sourcing only the best internationally. Jennings O'Donovan and Partners with a creditable history of working in the Middle East, Europe and Africa, has both the experience and the team that can add value to a project of this size and importance. "Diyar Al Muharraq is being built to extremely high specifications and standards and it is therefore of the utmost importance that infrastructure at every level will be of the highest quality," Mr Alkhayyat said. "Their reputation and body of work is indeed impressive, as is their passion and commitment for this new project. "Diyar Al Muharraq keenly appreciates the responsibility we have towards building up a strong infrastructure in Bahrain, which will be a foundation for all urban development," Mr Alkhayyat said. Mr Hejres said Diyar Al Muharraq seeks at all times to raise the bar of excellence, never compromising on quality, assessing constantly who can add value at every stage from primary infrastructure to final."We are confident that Jennings O'Donovan and Partners is completely in accord with us in this and their team will work with us most effectively to achieve that quality."
