Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Abdulhussain Mirza received a high-level delegation from US-Incorporated NuPower Development LLC headed by the company's CEO Daniel Alderman.
Dr. Mirza was briefed on the company's activities and projects in wireless power transmission which is a new technology for safe transfer of electricity. The corporate delegation expressed their desire to establish a company with headquarters in Bahrain to set up electricity transmission projects between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Middle East and North Africa countries.
The minister praised the company's activities and projects and said they welcomed the opening of cooperation opportunities with local and international companies that offer the best technologies to develop and improve the quality of electricity and water services.
The delegation thanked the minister and EWA officials for opening the areas of cooperation.
