Dubai - Arabstoday

Master developer Nakheel has signed Dh105 million contract for beach profiling works on Palm Jumeirah. The company announced on Thursday that it has appointed Van Oord International Dredging and Offshore Contractor for beach profiling works on Dubai’s prestigious Palm Jumeirah Island, one of the most sought-after locations in the world. The profiling work is set to commence as of the third week of September 2012, for a span of seven months, Nakheel stated. The work will include using prime quality sand on the Eastern and the Western edges of the Palm Jumeirah trunk, and the recently launched Palma Residences project. Palma Residences, launched in April this year, are located on a 61,000 sqm area of reclaimed land off the eastern side of Palm Jumeirah’s trunk. They are an exclusive collection of 104 Mediterranean-style residential units, each with direct beach access or pool access. From : Khalij
