OPEC crude down $ 1.46 to USD 111.67

The price of the 12-crude basket of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) dropped $ 1.46 on Thursday to USD 111.67 per barrel, the cartel said Friday The basket average price for 2010 came to USD 77.45 pb, OPEC''s bulletin said on Friday. The OPEC members produce a basket of 12 crudes, namely Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE), and Merey (Venezuela).
