Overseas car production by Hyundai, Kia up 13% in 2013

Car production abroad by major South Korean automakers Hyundai Motor Co. and Kia Motors Corp. rose 13 percent last year from a year ago thanks to growing demand for their models, a trade association said Friday. According to the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association (KAMA), the two automakers produced a combined 4.1 million units in foreign countries in 2013, compared with 3.63 million units in 2012
