Protiviti Member Firm’s official opening of the Riyadh office was attended by promoters and senior executives from some of the largest business houses and companies in the region.
Protiviti Member Firm for the Middle East region hosted an event on the official opening of its new office in Riyadh. The event coincided with the visit of one of its global leaders, Phillip Z. Fretwell, to the region. The new office space triples the office footprint and supports the member firm’s growth strategy.
Saad Al-Sabti, country managing director for Saudi Arabia, said this move represented an exciting development for the Middle East Protiviti Member Firm.
“This is a reiteration of our long-term commitment toward realization of the Saudi economic Vision 2030 by providing high quality internal audit, IT consulting and risk consulting services to organizations in the region. We are committed to hiring Saudi professionals and students and continue to contribute in achieving a key economic and social welfare milestone of creating a globally competitive workforce in Saudi Arabia,” he added.
Interacting with promoters and senior executives from some of the largest business houses and companies at the event, Fretwell said: “The Saudi economy is set to move on to a next phase of growth as the largest market in the Middle East accounting for 25 percent of the region’s GDP, and our member firm’s expansion is in recognition of the size of this business opportunity.”
Sanjeev Agarwal, senior managing director, responsible for member firm operations in the Middle East and India, said: “The decision to expand our presence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia was a logical step in our business growth strategy.”
He added: “Our new office space will strengthen Protiviti’s leadership position across the internal audit and risk consulting space in the GCC region and is well placed to meet the requirements of local and international organizations that are increasingly demanding alternative providers of internal audit, business consulting, risk advisory, and IT consulting services. Our team is excited about the growth we are experiencing, and this move represents a commitment to both our customers and our employees.”
