Samsung Electronics has launched the new Twin Cooling Plus refrigerator in Saudi Arabia.
The refrigerator uses the RT7000K Top Freezer technology to preserve fresh food and keep all ingredients from drying out for a longer period. Samsung Electronics claims to be the pioneer of such technology used in their Top Freezer fridges.
Ismail Yoon, managing director of Samsung Electronics KSA, said Samsung’s Top Freezer fridge is a solution to local demands for a modern and durable refrigerator that preserves the freshness of food. “The all-new twin cooling system fosters a healthy lifestyle and saves a good amount of energy and time providing an ease of mind for the consumer in the Saudi market. It is safe to say that the modern twin cooling Plus creates a favorable environment for keeping the food cool and moisture-full fresh in all compartments with a 70 percent humidity rate,” he added.
Yoon said the new refrigerator operates with dual independent compressors which prevent mixed odors that taint the ice stored in the freezers as twin cooling systems prevent air transition between the two compartments: the freezer and the fridge. As a result, frozen food will retain more of its original flavor. The twin cooling system’s distinct feature of air distribution maintains a condensed and cold flow of air to cool food and beverages in a short period without the accumulation of ice. It offers a spacious interior that holds up to 620 liters as SpaceMax technology creates more space inside without increasing external dimensions.
One of the features of Samsung’s five conversion model is that it can easily convert the freezer into a fridge. The consumer can also switch to off mode for energy-saving when leaving the house for long durations of time.
The five conversion models are the normal mode, seasonal mode, vacation mode, extra fridge mode, and home alone mode, which uses the freezer as a mini fridge.
