Main index of Amman Stock Exchange decreased 9 points during past week's operations; the daily trade also slipped 46.7 percent, according to weekly figures of the bourse. Benchmark for the week closing stood at 1903.1 points, compared with 1912.1 points of the previous week; a decline of 0.47 percent. As to sectors, the main index of the financial sector decreased 0.37 percent. The services went down 0.61 percent and the industries slipped 0.07 percent. Volume of daily trading amounted to approximately USD 7.7 million, compared with USD 14.5 million the week before; a decrease proportion of 46.7 percent. Overall volume of trade of the week stood at some USD 38.7 million, in contrast to USD 72.7 million the week before. Number of traded shares reached 31.5 million, done through 14,658 deals. As to sectors' contributions in volume of trade, the financial sector came first, 62.1 percent of the overall trade, followed by services, 24.1 percent, and lastly the industries, 13.8 percent. Comparing prices of closing of the trading companies, amounting to 185, with the previous closing, stock price of 88 ones have dropped and 46 others have risen.
