EGX gains EGP 600m, index up 0.2 pct

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices closed up on Tuesday backed by purchase operations by Egyptian and Arab investors.
The market capital gained EGP 600 million to hit EGP 413.9 billion, after transactions worth EGP 459.48 million.
The benchmark EGX 30 index rose 0.2 percent reaching 6,421 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) went up 0.89 percent recording 356.09 points.
The overall EGX 100 index increased 0.21 percent reaching 746.63 points.
