Egyptian Exchange gains EGP 3.7bn

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) gained about 3.7 billion pounds at the end of Tuesday's trading on the back of purchase operations by local investment funds.
The EGX 30 benchmark index leapfrogged by 1.17 percent to close at 8,181.95 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 2.2 percent to close at 463.51 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index upped by 1.22 percent to reach 948.38 points.
