The Qatar Exchange was down on Sunday 83.79 points or 1.02% to 8,156.60 points from the previous closing of 8,326.90. The volume of shares traded was fell to 4,878,105 from 4,908,540 on Thursday, and the value of shares down to QR147,235,776.78 from QR 223,186,142.10 Thursday. Among the top losers were Vodafone Qatar whose share dropped by 2.42% to QR7.65, Al khalij Commercial Bank lost 7.08% to QR16.40, Gulf warehousing Co down 2.34% to QR33.40 and Al Kaleej Takaful fell 3.32% to QR46.60. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 135.73 points while the Insurance sector fell 69.15 points. The Qatar industrial sector down 68.23 points and the Services sector lost 53.46 points.
