The Qatar Exchange was down on Thursday 93.45 points or 1.09% to 8,461.77 points from the previous closing of 8,555.22 . The volume of shares traded was up to 6,138,794 from 4,198,431 on Wednesday, and the value of shares increased to QR234,574,526.63 from QR160,789,855.08 Wednesday. Among the top losers were Qatar Islamic Bank whose share dropped 3.14% to QR80.30, Rayan lost by 2.29% to QR25.60, Doha Bank fell 2.93% to QR63.00 and Intl. Islamic Bank down 2.26% to QR52.00. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 212.81 points while the Insurance sector dropped 8.64 points. The Qatar industrial sector fell 54.99 points and the Services sector down 25.51 points. (QNA)
