Qatar exchange slightly down Monday

The Qatar Exchange was down on Monday 0.55 points or 0.01% to 8,095.54 points from the previous closing of 8,096.09. The volume of shares traded was down to 3,162,664 from 5,956,036 on Sunday, and the value of shares fell to QR129,877,498.63 from QR260,946,549.31 Sunday. Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped by 0.32% to QR122.70, Qatar Insurance fell 0.76% to QR78.00, Qatar Telecom lost 0.34% to QR147.00 and Al khalij Commercial Bank down 0.58% to QR17.20. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector added 13.76 points while the Insurance sector down 24.45 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 51.86 points and the Services sector gained 0.01 points.
