Qatar stock exchange up 0.38%

Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Monday, adding 32.58 points (or 0.38%) to advance to 8,669.02 points from 8,636.44 Sunday. The volume of the shares traded fell to 4,063,614 from 5,449,324 on Sunday and the value of shares decreased to QR213,347,452.24 from QR270,809,811.07 Sunday. Among the top gainers were Commercial Bank of Qatar which was up 1.24% to QR73.40, Qatar Insurance rose 1.19% to QR67.90, Industries Qatar gained 0.06% to QR166.000 and Qatar Telecom up by 2.29% to QR107.40. The Banking and Financial sector index up 0.36 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index added 0.21 points. The industrial sector gained 0.17 points while insurance sector dropped 0.71 points.(
