Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Wednesday, adding 90.32 points (or 1.08%) to advance to 8,449.26 points from 8,358.94 on last day. The volume of the shares traded fell to 3,274,109 from 4,864,980 on last day and the value of shares decreased to QR150,369,500.86 from QR230,443,946.20. Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 0.46% to QR131.50, Industries Qatar rose 2.19% to QR158.50, Commercial Bank of Qatar gained 0.99% to QR71.60 and Rayan up by 3.27% to QR25.60. The Banking and Financial sector index up 22.62 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index added 52.09 points. The industrial sector gained 35.01 points while insurance sector rose 8.74 points.(
