Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dipped 31.92 points (-0.27%) when the bourse closed trading at 11,731.64 points Monday.
Indices of three sectors advanced and four declined.
The market capitalisation decreased to QR 633.78 Billion from QR 635.64 Billion registered Sunday.
The traded value today fell to QR 200.26 Million with a volume of 6,152,173 shares from 3,744 transactions compared to QR 264.82 Million with a volume of 6,821,396 shares from 3,956 transactions registered Sunday.
Telecoms index made most gains today, up +0.71% to 1331.78 points closely followed by real estate up +0.66% to 2,416.27 points and insurance +0.45% to 4,121,96 points.
Transport index declined the most, down -0.75% to 2,401.03 points, industries -0.65% (3,910.02 points), banks and financial services -0.49% (3,164.05 points) and consumer goods and services -0.22% (6,917.42 points).
QSE's Total Return index fell -0.27% (18,230.05 points), QSE Al Rayan Islamic index -0.28% (4,315.06 points) and QSE All Share index +0.26% (3,137.99 points) today.
From the 43 listed companies on QSE, shares of 42 saw trading today. From these nine advanced, 28 went down, and five remained unchanged.
