Qatar Stock Exchange gained 61.59 points (+0.52%) when the bourse closed trading at 11,977.35 points Tuesday.
The market capitalization increased to QR 643.78 Billion from QR 639,505 Billion registered Monday.
The traded value jumped to QR 368.36 Million with a volume of 8,888,357 shares from 5,525 transactions compared to QR 323.92 Million with a volume of 7,04,371 shares from 4,662 registered Monday.
Indices of four sectors advanced today and three dropped today.
Consumer goods and services index gained most, up +1.69% to 7,228.7 points while transport index fell the most, down -0.80% to 2,435.76 points.
QSE Total Return Index gained +0.52% (18,611.86 points). QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained +0.59% (4,524.86 points). QSE All Share Index gained +0.65% (3,202.35 points).
From the 43 listed companies, shares of 42 saw trading today. From these, 28 advanced, 12 declined and two remained unchanged.
Medicare share gained the most today, in terms of percentage and value movement, up +5% (QR 8) when it closed at QR 168.
National Leasing company saw highest volume of trade with 1,029,986 shares changing hands. It gained +2.65% (QR 0.57) when it closed the day at QR 22.12.
