Customs Affairs Chief, Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa, today led Bahrain delegation to the 71st session of World Custom Organization's Policy Commission, which is being held in Brussels from June 23-24.
Customs Affairs Chief will also participate in the Customs Cooperation Council meetings as Representatives of North Africa and Near and Middle East.
The WCO Policy Commission meetings includes reviewing the progress made in various sectors prior to submit to Customs Cooperation Council, which holds its meetings until next Saturday.
The WCO Policy Commission meeting will discuss facilitating the implementation of WTO Agreement provisions, the exchange of information among the WCO Member States, guide for the partnership between customs and business sectors and WCO 2013-2014 strategic plan and operational plan.
