The new, exclusive edition of the 2011 Doha Trade Fair opened to the public today at Doha Exhibition Centre. The Fair is organized by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) and Qatar Media Services (q.media) over an area of 15 thousand square metres The Doha Trade Fair will offer a premium shopping experience for all visitors. More than 550 renowned exhibitors from 31 different countries will be showcasing and selling the latest exclusive and traditional products from around the globe. Deputy Board Chairman of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mohamed bin Tuwar Al-Kuwari said after the inauguration of the Fair, organized under the theme "Shop the World", that the Fair will offer commodities for families of all levels and will be an opportunity for shopping and entertainment, saying this year''s edition of the Fair is distinguished by the variety of the participating companies and the exhibited commodities. Participating countries include Bangladesh, Canada, China, Egypt, France, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Korea, KSA, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Singapore, Syria, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, the United States, Yemen and Zimbabwe.
