Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, DSOA, announced the launch of the second generation of corporate happiness framework for its happiest people strategy that builds on the achievements of the first generation.
The announcement was made at DSOA’s happiness forum which was attended by Dr. Juma Al Matrooshi, Deputy CEO, Operations and Client Affairs, Ghanim Al Falasi, Senior Vice President of Corporate Services, and other DSOA senior executives.
The event held at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City, drew the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Dubai Police, University of Dubai, Dubai Corporation For Ambulance Services, Dubai Airport Freezone Authority, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Dubai Culture, Dubai Ports, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Drydocks World, Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Etisalat, and Roads and Transport Authority.
The forum also saw the launch of DSOA’s happiness logo and a presentation of the entity’s achievements in corporate happiness, conceptualised as an initiative in 2013 and upgraded into a comprehensive strategy in 2014 to become a key pillar of the overall DSOA 2021 Strategy. The second generation of the corporate happiness framework is based upon three pillars – well-being and happiness, productivity and loyalty, and effective measurement of happiness initiatives with continuous improvement.
Speaking during the ceremony, Dr. Al Matrooshi said, "In line with the Dubai Plan 2021 and the vision of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to make the UAE the happiest country in the world, we have refreshed DSOA’s corporate happiness framework. To ensure that all our departments perform to global standards, we are dedicated to enhancing the satisfaction and happiness of our employees."
DSOA is the regulatory body for Dubai Silicon Oasis, the integrated free zone technology park, a wholly owned entity of the government of Dubai. It operates as a free zone technology park for large enterprises as well as medium and small companies looking to establish regional headquarters and research and development centres in the region.
