Fayyoum governor Hazem Ateyatoallah discussed Wednesday with the US archeological mission in the province details of a project for developing the ancient city of Karanis.
Introduced to Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el-Damati a week ago, the project will include renovating the house of the British high commissioner, the Roman bath, along with establishing a tourist center that showcases all the province's landmarks and attractions.
