Dubai - Arabstoday

Emaar Hospitality Group's chief executive Marc Dardenne, has suddenly left the company, it was announced on Tuesday. Emaar Hospitality is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dubai-based global property developer Emaar Properties. Emaar said in a statement that Patrick Heuze, the company's current COO, will be replacing Dardenne. While the company did not reveal the reason for Dardenne's departure, who assumed his role as the CEO of Emaar Hospitality Group and Emaar Hotels and Resorts in January 2007, sources say that Dardenne has relocated to Singapore. Dardenne graduated with an Executive MBA from Golden Gate University in Singapore. During his tenure, Dardenne was mandated with identifying, undertaking and developing world-class projects for the company including launching The Address Hotels and Resorts besides steering the development of Armani Hotels and Resorts in key cities and emerging markets globally.
