Finland has promised 23 million euros of aid to the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip during the period 2014-2017, a Finnish minister told MENA on Sunday.
The minister, who is now participating in an Egypt-hosted Gaza reconstruction conference, expressed her country's support for the two-state solution to end the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
Egypt and Norway are co-hosting the conference, where attendees from all over the world are expected to announce their contributions to the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
The Gaza strip was largely destroyed during the latest Israeli offensive on it, which started on July 8 and lasted for 51 days.
