Tunis - Tap

Tunisia imported from France 39% of its wheat needs during the 2010-2011 season, that is 409 000 tonnes.  For 2011-2012, French cereal growers would like to preserve this same market share and thus keep on being the first suppliers of Tunisia. This is why the Association for the International Promotion of French Cereals held Tuesday in Gammarth (northern suburb of Tunis), the 12th Tunisian-French cereals meeting. The aim of this annual meeting is to present the French cereals harvest in terms of quality and quantity on the world market, enquire about the requirements of the Tunisian market and review the trends and prospects of the international cereal markets.
