Vienna - Kuna

Hungary shows utmost interest in participating in Kuwait's on-going comprehensive development plan, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Hungary Abdulhamid Al-Failakawi said on Saturday.Al-Failakawi told KUNA that he invited a number of Hungarian businessmen and members of Hungary's Chamber of Commerce and Industry to visit the State of Kuwait to explore any potential investment opportunities. He also extended the same invitation to Kuwaiti businessmen to visit Hungary to get familiarized with any possible chances of investment in the country, especially in tourism and the agricultural sector."Hungarian laws are similar to those of the European Union", the Kuwaiti envoy pointed out, adding that "they provide foreign investors with all necessary privileges and gruantees to invest in the country." Al-Failakawi concluded by saying that the Kuwaiti embassy in Hungary would be fully prepared to give guidance to interested Kuwaiti businessmen and would provid needed coordination between them and the concerned Hungarian bodies. The Kuwaiti-Hungarian ties, which date back to the 70's, are exceptional and based on mutual respect, the Kuwaiti envoy described. He added that the two countries always strive to enhance mutual cooperation in all domains, particularly the economic ones.
