Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Wednesday Russiawas willing to further cooperate with its foreign partners despite recentaggravations."In any circumstances, amidst any arguments and international aggravations whichhappen periodically, it is not acceptable to drop out from the international laborsharing and scientific cooperation," Medvedev told an international conference oneconomy and societymodernization.Otherwise, Russia had no future, he stressed, adding that Moscow's foreign partnerswere "hopefully" interested in continuation of mutual cooperation.He urged Russia's partners not to scarify economic benefits in favor of politicalambitions even if their approaches to certain international problems might differ."We all must act pragmatically," the Interfax news agency quoted Medvedev assaying.Meanwhile, the prime minister admitted that the government hadbeenquestioningfeasibility of the Strategy-2020 program which set targets for the country's socialand economic growth.The program drafted by over 1,000 experts was adopted by the government in 2011as a guideline for the country's long-term development."Obviously, fears have lately appeared that we could not implement the plans andwhether the growth needed to secure the goals set in the program will occur,"Medvedev said.Still, he assured that the government would not cut social spending despite itssubstantial burden on the budget.
