Morocco takes part in Brussels’ European Seafood Exposition “Seafood Expo Global, held on May 6-8,” said a statement of the Moroccan Export Promotion Center, Maroc Export. Through this event, Moroccan fishing industry professionals seek to develop new markets for national products, including the most sophisticated ones, as well as new opportunities and partnerships with 35,000 trade visitors representing one hundred countries, said Maroc Export, the organizer of the Moroccan participation, in collaboration with the national fish processors federation. The three-day event, will allow sea-food industry professionals to learn about the latest market trends and processing technologies of these products, and will offer interesting business opportunities. The Moroccan participation is distinguished by the quality of products and the highly integrated fisheries sector, which now offers fresh and processed products, the statement said, noting that the Moroccan participation “reflects the success of the major reforms in Morocco launched in the field of fisheries.”
