The Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry organized here today a meeting for Saudi-Portuguese business sectors in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister of Republic of Portugal Dr. Paulo Portas and his accompanying delegation, and the Council's President Engineer Abdullah bin Saeed Al-Mubti. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and means of their enhancement. Addressing the meeting, Engineer Al-Mubti pointed out that the trade exchange volume between the two countries rose from SR 2.4 billion in 2009 to about SR 5 billion in 2011 and amounted to SR 4.4 billion in 2012.
