Qatar and Kyrgyzstan Tuesday signed an agreement on economic and trade cooperation and technical support.
The agreement was signed on the Qatari side by HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al -Thani, the Minister of Economy and Commerce while Kyrgyz Minister of Economy Temir Sariev Bishkek signed it for Kyrgyzstan .
The pact was signed in the framework of the visit paid by the Kyrgyz Minister of the economy to Doha to discuss aspects of cooperation in economy, trade and investment fields between the two countries.
The agreement aims to establish a framework of cooperation between the two countries in the economic, commercial and technical domains to run the trade , industry, energy, small and medium enterprises, tourism, agro-industry, agriculture, communications and to facilitate the transportation and construction on the basis of equality and mutual benefits.
It further aims to encourage the private sector and businessmen, organizations and companies to explore the potential application projects in the areas of cooperation referred to in the pact.
