A 16-member Saudi businessmen delegation will tour Tanzania later this month to explore possibilities of investing in various sectors. The Saudi ambassador to Tanzania, Hani Abdullah Mo’menah, told reporters at the weekend that the tour has been jointly organized by the Tanzania Investment Center (TIC) and the embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Mo’menah said the trade delegation would arrive on March 26 for a two-day mission. While in Tanzania, the delegation will hold meeting with local businessmen in Dar-es- Salam to be chaired by the Minister of State in the Tanzania Prime Minister's Office (Investments), Dr Mary Nagu. The envoy said the tour follows President Jakaya Kikwete's visit to Saudi Arabia in 2009, according to a press statement published today.
