Syndical coordination body sees wages adjustment wretched, rejected in Lebanon

The Syndical Coordination Body on Wednesday rejected the cabinet decision, which it termed as "wretched," on wages adjustment, agreed upon last night. He called the government to retract from said decision, adopt scientific and objectives bases, and take into consideration inflation ratio which exceeded 100%. It also called for a general assembly to discuss many measures, among which the general strike in all public and private schools next Wednesday, a sit-in before the Grand Serail, the preparation for a national syndical conference and contacts with the Ministers and parliamentary blocs to tackle the dangers of the newly adopted decision.
